Meet Dr. Johnna Voght, Psy.D.,
Hood River, OR

Since 2000, I have been helping people change in deep and sustained ways. I have a sincere passion for helping others live more fully, vibrantly, lovingly, and authentically as well as healing relationships.

I have over fifteen years training in Gestalt Therapy and Reichian or Orgone Therapy. In addition, I studied with Sufi Master, Adnan Sarhan, for over ten years learning how to bring the soul and heart alive. With the right person, coaching can be collaborative, creative, and life-changing!

In order to make our time together as meaningful as possible, I strive to see and hear all of what makes you who you are. To do this, I integrate valuable skills I learned as a psychologist with energetics, astrology, somatic principles (how you breathe and move), and spirituality. This creates a unique and inspired approach that I believe creates lasting and meaningful change.

Life is meant to be lived and love is meant to be shared. There is more!

Beliefs and Style

I believe every individual has an innate capacity to grow and change if they are provided a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment.

In my work, I combine aspects of energetics, astrology, spirituality, and body work to provide a dynamic, inspired, and meaningful approach to change and growth.

How to Create Change

My work is based on the universal law of expansion and contraction, which is the foundation of my understanding of health and growth. That which can breathe with free-flowing energy pulsates in a natural rhythm of expansion and contraction.

Just as our universe, atmosphere, cells, hearts, brains and other vital organs function through pulsation, so do our lives. A blocked flow of energy leads to a lack of pulsation, resulting in a life or relationship of rigidity, lack of vitality, and disconnection from themselves, others, and universal energy. As a result, life becomes small and lackluster.

Led into Healing

Through deep attunement, empathic listening and reflection, incisive challenges, body-centered awareness and interventions, focus on breath, and a deep belief in the natural state of health and well-being, I lead people into greater knowing and acceptance of their energy, natural state, and deep impulses.

This results in the ability and desire to share themselves with the world and those around them. I help clients reconnect to the flow of life, bringing together their inner life and outer worlds!
